ZEISS and Alpenglow Biosciences announced a new partnership

We’re excited to announce that ZEISS and Alpenglow Biosciences have entered into a new partnership to jointly develop an inverted light-sheet microscope and a bioinformatics pipeline purpose-built for clinical applications.

Alpenglow, a pioneering 3D spatial biology company specializing in open-top light-sheet microscopy, advanced data processing, and AI-powered analysis, is collaborating with ZEISS, a global leader in light-sheet imaging and visualization software, known for innovations like the ZEISS Lattice Lightsheet 7 and arivis imaging platform.

This partnership brings together the complementary strengths of both organizations to accelerate the adoption of 3D pathology across research, translational, and clinical environments.

By combining ZEISS’s precision engineering and arivis visualization tools with Alpenglow’s scalable imaging, analysis, and AI expertise, the collaboration aims to deliver the fastest whole-tissue imaging solution available today.

3D imaging of entire tissues creates the ideal foundation for AI models to provide individualized treatment insights, transforming not just the speed but also the accuracy of clinical decision-making.
